Nottingham is a Science City known for its excellence in life sciences, clean energy technology and digital content creation. Our goal is to inspire more children and young people to follow a career in STEM.

Stemcity is our action plan to achieve this goal. Nottingham City Council and Nottingham Trent University together manage and co-ordinate the Stemcity partnership. Nottingham City Council sponsors the annual Festival of Science and Curiosity, Nottingham’s street-level STEM engagement festival held every February. The lead officer for STEM engagement is Jon Rea, Engagement and Participation Lead.
