Mobile Nucleus: European Researchers’ Night in Perugia

The Researchers’ Night in Perugia, Ancona, Cascina, L’Aquila and Palermo on 29 September 2017 is named Sharing Researchers’ Passions for Engagement and Responsibility. Our partner Psiquadro is part of the SHARPER Consortium and will host a Mobile Nucleus during the event.

The European Researchers’ Night 2017, which includes the SHARPER project, is an initiative promoted and co-funded by the European Commission, under the HORIZON 2020 European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. It is aimed at bringing together the general public to the research world and in particular to researchers, helping citizens understand the importance of scientific research for the cultural, social and economic development of society.

The European Researchers’ Night will be great event where entertainment, information and participation willmix together to create shows, meetings and scientific cafes, art and science performances, role-playing games, and convivial appointments animated by researchers and expert communicators.

Among the scheduled activities, there will be Light City Dress which will cover the facades of symbolic buildings and famous palaces with images and graphic design, with contributions from the world of research, while the Storytellers Night Show will host stories of research and researchers, as well as art and scientific missions.
