SUMMARY:NUCLEUS Working Group: Linking RRI Study with Field Trips
DESCRIPTION:If a project wants to learn how to make RRI a reality\, it has to be willing to take on responsibility itself. In a working group meeting held at Bielefeld University\, NUCLEUS partners gathered to collaboratively develop the questions for a study to understand how university leaders and researchers view RRI. The partners\, representing researchers\, policymakers and science communicators\, dug deep into exploring how variations of vocabulary\, cultural references and framing could strengthen the interview questions and procedure. Probing the interviewees’ perceptions of barriers\, opportunities\, and RRI within their institutions\, the study findings will be used to develop new policies to implement during the test phase of the project. \n
